Description:

Engage two accredited youth corps crews in restoration projects that will reduce the risk of wildland fire, improve wildlife habitat, including restoring brood-rearing habitat used by Gunnison sage-grouse, reduce wildlife conflicts with livestock grazing, restore wetlands, and improve groundwater storage. The project will employ 40 youth and young adults from diverse backgrounds in restoring 4.5 acres of riparian habitat at King Mountain and Chance Gulch and Dutch Gulch in Colorado.
