Metroparks Toledo will work with project partners to restore 21 acres of former brownfields along the Maumee River near downtown Toledo. Project will install 48,500 square feet of natural wetlands that will capture 1.2 million gallons of untreated annual stormwater runoff, plant over 600 trees, and restore 1,385 linear feet of degraded Maumee River shoreline.
