Stabilize soil through vegetation planting to prevent run-off from dirt roads and abandoned agricultural lands from being transported into the gulches and out to the coral reefs in West Maui. Project will mitigate sedimentation run-off at eight previously prioritized sites and prioritize opportunities to reduce nutrient loading from nearshore development such as golf courses and hotels in the Honokowai and Wahikuli watersheds.
