Increase the effectiveness of bycatch mitigation activities using more inclusive data sets to rapidly and economically identify critical bycatch interactions with minimal disruption to industry in Florida. Project will result in reduced cetacean bycatch and expand the range of electronic monitoring platforms through a modular, portable piece of equipment to be used interchangeably among shore-based stations, small scale, and medium-sized vessels.
