NFWF Grant Profile

Recruit and hire 21 local Corps members to transform four acres of a vacant lot and an adjacent stormwater retention facility into a Southwest riparian habitat and education facility outside Albuquerque in New Mexico. Project will engage 50 additional volunteers to construct recreation facilities, restore ecological functions, improve water quality and provide environmental education programs to the community.
