Investigate microplastics and the impact of this type of pollution in harbors of the western Long Island Sound in Connecticut. Project will develop a model monitoring program to assess the extent and impact of microplastic pollution on habitats and the food web of Long Island Sound, educate about the issue, and develop management recommendations to address the problem.
