Support recovery of the federally endangered red-cockaded woodpecker through translocation of birds from the Apalachicola National Forest to designated recovery properties in Florida, Georgia and Mississippi selected by the Southern Range Translocation Cooperative. Project will translocate at least 20 birds to restored longleaf pine habitat that will be managed long-term.
