Monitor seabird response to conservation actions implemented within Honopu Valley. Monitoring actions include assessments of breeding success, call rates, burrow attendance and occupancy for Newell’s shearwater, Hawaiian petrel, and band-rumped storm petrel; this project will also initiate social attraction techniques, including broadcasting calls and installing artificial burrows, to encourage seabirds to breed inside the fence.
