Description:

Survey, locate, and treat tamarisk trees and seedlings in the upper Santa Ynez River and monitor previously treated trees. Project will survey 170 miles of the upper Santa Ynez River and 14 tributary streams and canyons upstream of Gibraltar Dam, record the locations of all tamarisk trees and seedlings, monitor the results of last year’s treatment of 120 tamarisk trees, and treat additional tamarisk trees in the upper watershed.
