Provide technical oversight and coordination for analysis, field study, and preliminary design of a reconnected floodplain on Buffalo Creek in West Seneca, NY, upstream of the flood-prone Lexington Green community, to mitigate flooding, improve resiliency throughout the community and downstream, and provide beneficial habitat for native species. Project will use nature-based solutions to mitigate flooding while providing for greater resiliency of the waterway, community, and native habitat.
