Collect and recycle or convert to energy derelict lobster traps through an annual collection event in partnership with the New Hampshire Fish and Game Department, commercial harvesters, municipalities, and volunteers to clean up New Hampshire coastal beaches following winter storm events, which damage and deposit lobster gear along the shoreline. Project will recycle or convert to energy 30 tons of lobster traps with up to 50 volunteers from the commercial fishing industry, utilizing disposal bins at Rye and Hampton Harbors.
