Remove encroaching juniper and pinyon pine trees from historic grassland areas to restore habitat for mule deer, pronghorn and elk through mastication utilizing a drum grinder mounted on a rubber-tired tractor. Project will restore more than 2,300 acres of habitat that serve as a critical migration link from winter to summer grounds for ungulates.
