Remove an obsolete dam, stabilize the streambanks, and establish new riparian buffer areas at two critical locations in the Mud Run Watershed, Pennsylvania. Project will restore free-flowing conditions, improve habitat and water quality for native trout populations, and filter pollutants and nutrients from stormwater runoff from roadways adjacent to the stream through installation of riparian buffer plantings.
