The project will work with coastal communities to assess critical coastal resilience needs; identify solutions for mitigating risks to specific infrastructure or community assets; assess project feasibility, including fish and wildlife benefits; outline project development needs and funding sources; and provide direction on next steps to enable communities to implement coastal resilience projects.
The project’s outcome is to enable communities to develop and advance implementation of high-value projects that prevent or minimize impacts to assets in coastal areas while benefitting fish and wildlife, and facilitating interjurisdictional collaboration on coastal resilience needs and opportunities.
