Partner with private landowners to implement site-specific land management practices that increase the quality, quantity, and connectivity of native grassland habitat for priority grassland birds. Project will improve at least 1,000 acres of degraded habitat for migratory and resident species through the South Texas Grassland Restoration Incentive Program.

Project will take place in the South Texas Grassland Focus Area, a 14 county priority conservation area for priority grassland birds (Brooks, Duval, Hidalgo, Jim Wells, LaSalle, Jim Hogg, Starr, Zapata, and roughly the western half of Kenedy, Kleberg, Live Oak, and Willacy Counties).
