Restore historic and natural floodplain conditions, enhance native plant communities and create fish habitat benefitting at-risk Mid-Columbia steelhead, bull trout and spring run chinook salmon. Project will clean up mine tailings to benefit Bull Run Creek aquatic habitat and build a cooperative effort between the North Fork John Day Watershed Council, the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation, and the Whitman Ranger District of the Wallowa Whitman National Forest.
