Advance longleaf ecosystem restoration and recovery of several at-risk and listed species in GA, LA, SC and TX. Project will restore and enhance more than 2,000 acres of longleaf pine habitat through longleaf plantings, prescribed burning and other management practices, and accelerate species recovery by improving resiliency through captive rearing and reintroduction of the at-risk gopher frog and translocation of the federally endangered red-cockaded woodpecker to suitable habitat.
