Work with local high school students and community members to remove invasive plants and install native trees and woody shrubs on 1 acre of important habitat for threatened Chinook Salmon and other salmon species within the Green-Duwamish River Watershed in the central Puget Sound region Washington. The project will enhance essential habitat for juvenile salmon rearing, feeding, acclimation, and protection from flood events, as well as adult spawning habitat and resting areas for spawning adults.
