Implement a comprehensive and focused approach to forest bird conservation via Dynamic Forest Restoration Blocks (DFRB), by drafting a comprehensive plan and implementing forest management in the new 9,632 acre Long Pond DFRB, and revising the existing DFRB plan for SGL 180. Project will diversify stand age classes and increase structural complexity of forests within American Bird Conservancy’s Poconos Birdscape to help meet the full breeding season habitat needs of many forest bird species.
