The Flight to Survive
In the 1940s whooping cranes were almost extinct. But they're beginning to come back thanks to the strong work of partners supported by NFWF. NFWF has supported several projects to help the cranes' recovery from hatching chicks in captivity to teaching them how to migrate like wild birds do. It's an amazing story. Seeing these huge birds return to the sky you can't help but be inspired by the work NFWF makes possible.
