Guadalupe Island (24,171 ha; 1,298 m high; Eastern Pacific 29°04’27.65”N; 118°17’35.49”W) is 260 km off the Baja California Peninsula. It hosts 223 vascular plants, eight species of seabirds (one extinct), eight endemic terrestrial birds (five extinct) and three species of pinnipeds.
