NFWF Grant Profile

Hire six tribal youth to be placed in remote field camps where they will be given safety training, conduct habitat restoration through controlling invasive weeds and riparian area improvement, learn about land management, conduct 3.6 acres of invasive weed surveys, clean-up shoreline marine debris, and improve a community garden. Project will directly benefit the Angoon community and Admiralty Island.
