Recruit urban, minority youth from high-poverty neighborhoods in the southeastern cities of Milwaukee and Racine to serve in 20 Corps member positions designated as next-generation conservationists who work over 18 months to
improve access to and maintain 10 acres collectively within the native ecosystem of Bureau of Land Management islands in the Rock River, Wisconsin River and nearby inland lakes.
