Description:

Channel Islands Restoration (CIR) proposes to re-treat the areas of the Sisquoc River, Forester's Leap Canyon and Manzana Creek where Tamarisk was treated with herbicide in 2017 applying herbicide to any re-sprouts and new seedlings. In 2018, a CIR crew will survey the areas that were treated in 2017 and treat any re-sprouts with herbicide. Tamarisk seedlings will be pulled out by hand.

The project is located on the main stem of the Sisquoc River from the headwaters at Alamar Saddle on the east to the Forest boundary on the west (approximately two miles west of Manzana Camp), Foresters Leap Canyon and (if necessary) Manzana Creek.
