NFWF Grant Profile

Engage at least 120 students and community members and improve 72.6 acres of habitat for various prairie, water and woodland bird species such as western meadowlark, gray partridge, bald eagle, purple martin, woodpecker species, waterfowl and great blue heron at the Urban Woods and Prairie's Initiative Nature Park, Lion’s Conservancy, in Fargo, North Dakota. Project will establish pollinator plots, reduce invasive species, and promote erosion control along Red River riparian areas.
