Implement a combination of terraced bioretention, porous pavement, and native plantings during the War Memorial Center site renovation along the Lake Michigan shoreline in downtown Milwaukee. The project will store an annual average of 1.4 million gallons of stormwater, while enhancing habitat for tens of thousands of migrant birds and other shoreline wildlife.
