Engage 37 family forest owners in southwest Alabama to restore and enhance 1,275 acres of longleaf pine forests through planting, thinning, prescribed burning and invasive species control. Project will prioritize activities around ongoing longleaf pine restoration projects on land managed by private, state and federal landowners, thereby enhancing the landscape value for at-risk species.
