Description:

Restore 150 acres of forested riparian buffers on degraded streams within priority subwatersheds of Tennessee’s Elk River watershed to benefit water quality and improve habitat for birds including the northern bobwhite quail and prairie warbler, amphibians, and aquatic species. Project will develop transferable tools to identify priority conservation sites and increase awareness on the benefits of riparian buffers.
