U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service's Balcones Canyonlands National Wildlife Refuge will conduct prescribed burning to enhance monarch habitat on private lands through the Partners for Fish and Wildlife program. The project will improve 5,000 acres of habitat to support the monarch’s fall and spring migration.
