Implement green stormwater infrastructure, restore riparian habitat, and conduct outreach about agricultural and stormwater best management practices in the Muddy River Watershed. Project will improve water quality by restoring riparian habitat, preventing over 27,000 gallons of stormwater from entering the watershed, and preventing 69 pounds of sediment annually from entering the system.

SJLWT’s restoration efforts will focus on the Muddy Run Watershed, a 17.6 mile-long tributary of the Maurice River in Southwestern NJ flowing through Salem and Cumberland Counties. Project installations will take place in Elmer Borough.
