Description:

Complete a habitat assessment and hydraulic analysis of a 200 acre section of the mainstem Scott River and implement an off-channel pond as refuge for over-wintering and over-summering juvenile coho salmon. Project will plan for and prioritize stream restoration treatments within an important coho salmon migratory corridor and provide an important opportunity for partnership building between local landowners, private organizations, federal agencies and the Karuk Tribe.
