The Rainwater Basin is the focal point of the Central Flyway. During spring migration the Central Flyway constricts through this 6,100 square mile landscape in south-central Nebraska. This landscape corresponds to the Nebraska portion of the Central Loess Plains Major Land Resource Area (MLRA 75).
