NFWF Grant Profile

Create a Tribal Youth Conservation Work Crew that will perform tasks on tribal and public lands that benefit focal wildlife species. Work Crew will work on the Lower Brule Sioux Indian Reservation and Fort Pierre National Grassland in central South Dakota on improving pronghorn movement and reducing wildlife hazards, monitoring specific species of grassland birds, improving grassland bird habitat, and mitigating impacts of sylvatic plague.
