Continue the successful captive propagation and reintroduction of the Alala, an iconic and charismatic Hawaiian bird species. Project will rear approximately 15 juveniles and release 11-13 juveniles into intensively restored and managed native forest habitat following a thoroughly vetted and peer-reviewed reintroduction plan.
