NFWF Grant Profile

Coordinate the planning and implementation of conservation action for American oystercatcher along the entire U.S. Atlantic seaboard. The project will continue the coastwide coordination of the American oystercatcher recovery initiative and compile lessons learned after a decade’s worth of targeted investments and embark upon a new initiative to develop Best Management Practices to restore wet and dry sand habitats for oystercatchers and other breeding shorebirds along the Atlantic Coast.
