NFWF Grant Profile

Create 4 acres of wetland habitat to mitigate pollution from storm water runoff and flooding from the City of Eufaula, Oklahoma. Project will improve water quality in Lake Eufaula and create habitat for plovers, avocets, sandpipers, herons, rails, marsh wrens and other waterfowl and engage 56 volunteers to build an interpretive area providing opportunities for the public to experience and learn about the wetlands ecosystem.
