Description:

County of Ottawa will restore the hydrologic connection between the 26 acre Kirby Bayou and the Grand River and stabilize 500 feet of riverbank to reduce sediment and improve water quality. Project will reconnect access to rare bayou habitat for species of greatest concern such as lake sturgeon, northern pike, and snuffbox.
