Remove invasive water hyacinth growth, plant native tree species and shoreline grasses, and engage and enhance community stewardship through education about the importance of the lagoon system and habitats in New Orleans. Project will plant 35 trees, remove invasive plants on 3.5 acres of waterways and engage 1,160 community members to support the restoration outcomes.
