NFWF Grant Profile

Study two rat populations on Tetiaroa Atoll in French Polynesia to determine how breeding behavior and diet affect bait interaction used in rodent eradication, a powerful conservation tool employed globally. Project will address knowledge gaps around invasive rodent biology and diet on tropical islands that will inform how best to treat the highest risk segments in order to protect seabirds.
