Description:

Perform in-stream restoration activities along two acres of Tijeras Arroyo River tributaries to enhance watershed health, plant native trees in neighborhoods in Albuquerque’s South Valley to alleviate heat vulnerability and drought while partnering with a local tree nursery and greenhouse to benefit the local workforce. Project will train and employ approximately 33 local youth to plant over 200 trees in two neighborhoods.
