Improve fire resilience by thinning overstocked trees on the Spokane Reservation for a healthier, fire resistant habitat, and create and promote growth of fire resistant aspen stands and other native vegetation while creating browse and essential cover for deer, elk, moose and numerous bird species. Project will reduce fuel loads and enhance wildlife habitat on approximately 550 acres of land.
