Description:

Install urine diversion technology in Windham County, Vermont to prevent nitrogen from entering the Connecticut River/Long Island Sound through septic system leaching and wastewater treatment plant discharge. The 14 installations completed through this project will capture at least 350 pounds of nitrogen annually, which will be pasteurized and applied as fertilizer on local farms.
