NFWF Grant Profile

Integrate targeted outreach, streamflow and fisheries monitoring, project development and implementation, and strategic changes in water rights and policy to restore a viable self-sustaining population of coho salmon in the Russian River. Funding from this grant will build on eight years of NFWF support that allows continued implementation of projects to increase streamflow during the dry season and to quantitatively demonstrate the benefit of these new projects on streamflow and coho survival.
