Description:

Continue development of an Aleutian Tern Conservation Plan for the state of Alaska by reconvening a meeting of stakeholders to assess pilot efforts initiated in 2018 to monitor Aleutian tern colonies using drones, acoustic recorders, photo counts, and flush counts. Project will continue to fill information gaps through the use of satellite transmitters to gather information on inter-colony movement of adult terns during the breeding season, dispersal and migration pathways.
