Establish a new colony of endangered Hawaiian seabirds in the Nihoku Restoration Area at Kilauea Point National Wildlife Refuge on Kauai, Hawaii. Project will translocate 20 Hawaiian petrel and 20 Newell’s shearwater to predator-free habitat on the refuge and will continue habitat restoration and monitoring efforts at this site.
