Evaluate existing long-term mark-recapture data for ashy storm-petrels from multiple breeding sites throughout their range and conduct a power analysis to determine the minimum effort needed to effectively monitor population trends. Project will integrate new data from ongoing studies to inform population modeling efforts and determine the best practices for standardizing methods at all regularly monitored colonies to enhance storm-petrel conservation as part of a range-wide monitoring program.
