Description:

Reduce Total Phosphorus levels within the project watersheds and Green Bay by implementing best management practices that will reduce and/or eliminate nonpoint and point source pollution sources from cropland and livestock facilities. Project activities will also document the stream health within the watersheds through water chemistry analysis and evaluation of aquatic macroinvertebrates.

The proposed project area is approximately 54 square miles comprised of two watersheds, Keyes Creek (HUC 040301020403)and Larson Creek (HUC 040301020402), both of which outlet to the bay of Green Bay in Lake Michigan. The center of the project area is located at 44°48’17.4” N, 87°32’07.1” W.
