Description:

Employ a conservation agronomist in the Cedar and Root River watersheds to leverage existing relationships with the agricultural industry to provide technical assistance, focusing on the link between profitability and conservation, to a new population of landowners. Project will increase knowledge among farmers on the positive links between profitability and conservation practices and increase whole-farm management assessments identifying water-quality risks and mitigation of those risks.
