Audubon’s Conservation Ranching certification program has been gaining momentum throughout the Central Plains. Oklahoma poses a great opportunity to effectively delivery grassland stewardship programs such as the Conservation Ranching effort, while positively impacting multiple grassland obligate species, and supporting the economic stability of rural communities through cattle production. This proposal aims combine the conservation technical assistance expertise of (PF/QF) with the Audubon’s Conservation Ranching Program to deliver a one-stop-shop for grassland conservation and ranching stewardship by developing a PF/QF Oklahoma State Coordinator to be located within the State of Oklahoma.
