Reduce the threats of poaching and bycatch for hawksbill turtles in El Salvador. Project will monitor and secure over 600 anticipated nests and 50,000 hatchlings along the beaches of Los Cóbanos, Bahía de Jiquilisco, and Punta Amapala in El Salvador and conduct LED-equipped gillnet trials in Punta Amapala to assess bycatch reduction in the lobster gillnet fishery.
